Harry's Happy Everyday - Reviews by You.
This isn't Harry, this is Jackson Baker. But, who is Harry?
"I'm just a normal guy who likes to surf when I can. Working full-time in the big smoke means I’m getting in the water 2-3 times at the moment (on a good week). Combining this with the sub-par Sydney waves that we’re blessed with, I used my 1-2 board purchases a year and invested in a 6’0 Happy Everyday off the rack in PU. A little more volume than I should be riding, but for my 88 kilos it’s been a blessing."
So after putting the thing through its paces and us having to listen to his thoughts, we thought it’d be nice to put his perspective on paper.
"Paddle-ability - Very Good/easy. Catching waves is a breeze and when surfs are scarce it’s a box ticked. 8.5/10
Manoeuvrability - Can whip tail around with complete control whether it’s a smaller pocket or on a steeper wall. - 9/10
Speed - Even as a PU it’s got speed straight off the mark. And also holds speed well when it starts getting a bit bigger. 9/10
I chose to pair my Happy Everyday with a set of the Futures AM2. I found these were a great balance between drive and release. The slightly smaller rear fin loosens up the tail a bit and makes turning easier in the smaller, weaker conditions.
I can confidently say this is the best board I have ridden in a long time. It’s something I can ride in anything and also really helps to progress my surfing. The balance between having something that is easy to surf and can also surf well on is a great recipe.
Thanks CI"
