Compression tested, ECT is 15% stronger than a standard lamination. The best feeling boards are equally balanced deck and bottom, often times why a team rider uses single 4oz deck with a single 4oz bottom. Unfortunately, single 4oz decks are not durable enough for the average surfer.

ECT allows us to bring the performance of a single layer of glass with the durability of two layers.
