Every new CI board design is built with a particular fin template in mind. Sometimes we stay with an existing CI fin we know will work perfectly; other times we build something fresh when the need is there. We spend many months and sometimes years dialling in the fins for a new model to ensure our customers and team riders get
the most performance possible from their board. CI�s new BFF (Britt Fish Fin) is the latest template to arise from this never-ending design process that pairs the best fin possible with a new board model.

The BFF is a modern classic keel design that was custom made for our new Feb�s Fish. During initial R&D sessions on the new Feb�s Fish, the AMK and BMT were tested. That AMK provided heaps of down-the-line speed, but felt a tad over-finned during tight, arcing turns. Our BMT felt like not enough surface area was there for stability and drive, and that maybe a more subtle fin tip could provide smoother turns. To solve this, Britt pulled back and rounded the AMK tip and with some other adjustments to it was
able to fine-tune the outline. The result of this is a beautiful and balanced fin that is fast and turns well.
